Big Brother Series 2

When Bubble got booted out of the Big Brother House he was able to see the two loves of his life: Stephanie and Briony.

Bubble and Briony kicked a ball together and Briony said: "I love Daddy. It's nice to see him again." Tearful Bubble admitted: "I messed up my life several times with drink and drugs - but for the past three years Briony's been a constant force for me and has helped me to survive. Big Brother was my way of making a lot of money in a short period and giving her a chance in life, to pay for her to go to college and school. Seeing her again was an intensely moving experience. I did feel guilty for leaving her, and there was a part of me that thought she might not recognise me.

"I'd sort of forgotten how she felt and smelt because the house tends to desensitise you. She even looked bigger. I was scared she'd reject me, but she ran to me and yelled "Daddy". She thought I'd been on holiday - one day I'll tell her the truth. It was beautiful to just hold her again and have the freedom to play with her - that's what I missed the most."

Bubble's main concern about going into the house was how it would affect Briony, whom he sees every weekend. He explained: "After I was chosen to go in, I asked the show's psychologist if it would do any long-term damage.

"He said no because she's too young. Otherwise there's no question, I wouldn't have done it. I made a load of video tapes of me talking to her and blowing kisses - one for each week of the series, as I was sure I'd be there that long. Saying goodbye to her was so hard. I was worried I'd made a mistake - and I had."
