Bubble shaved his hair into a David Beckham-style mohican. Football-mad Bubble went for the wacky hairdo after Channel 4 bosses refused to let him watch England play Greece.

Viewers heard him say: "Football is my religion and I need to worship at the temple. Since I couldn't watch the game I had to shave my head to support England." Housemates Dean O'Loughlin and Helen Adams first shaved Bubble's hair into a George Cross. But he was not impressed and went for the Bubble Beckham instead. He added: "My mum's going to kill me, but I reckon it looks good."

Bubble was made favourite by the bookies to win the show after The Sun newspaper decided to back him to win. Bookies slashed the odds on Bubble winning from 5-1 to 2-1 favourite and punters rushed to place bets. Coral spokeswoman Hilary Spooner said: "It seems Bubbles the winner everyone wants to back. Because of The Sun's story weve taken 100,000 on him in a day. We didnt know what hit us - it's the biggest Big Brother gamble yet."

Bubble also admitted having sex with a hooker on a debauched, drug-fuelled trip to Amsterdam. And after being voted out of the Channel 4 house he had a night of lust with fiancee Stephanie Johnston then came out of the bedroom and said: "I needed that." Bubble, reckons he was nominated for the chop because "I guess I am a bit lacking in the facial department and I know some people may think that I'm a bit loud and annoying."

The TV show kept quiet about the night Bubble paid for sex with a prostitute after he made a sensational admission inside the house. But during a conversation in the garden with Dean, Elizabeth and Amma at 1.30am, when few people would have been watching. Bubble said: "I was in Amsterdam when I was 17 with my mates and I ended up sleeping with a prostitute." Surprised by their stunned reaction, Bubble then tried to water down the story and tried to convince them he had a memory lapse. "Actually, to be honest, I was stoned on drugs and paranoid and I can't remember what I did," he babbled. "I'm going to have to check with my mates when I leave the house."

Bubble's other great love is his daughter Briony, whose mum is his ex-fiancee, 23-year-old Gemma Lenderyou. "I really wanted to stay and win the money for Briony," he said sadly. "She's just three years old and I love her to bits. "I see her every weekend, which is why the weekends in the house were so tough for me. They were horrendous. "I'd still feel down and horrible on the Monday and that's when the nominations for evictions were made, which can't have helped my case. I thought it would be worth sacrificing 20 days with Briony if I could win the 70,000 first prize and give her a head start in life. I gave it my best shot but I just wasn't good enough."

But Bubble's hopes of rushing to see Briony were wrecked when Gemma initially banned him from seeing the child. Gemma told Bubble she didn't want her daughter to be at the centre of a "media circus." She wouldn't even let Bubble talk to Briony when he rang after leaving the Big Brother house. But Bubble pleaded with Gemma for the chance to have just five minutes with his little girl. Father and daughter finally enjoyed an emotional reunion near Gemma's home in New Malden, Surrey, yesterday afternoon. It was Gemma who accused Bubble of being a flop in bed. Bubble confirmed the story and, admitting he was a selfish lover, replied: "As long as I enjoy myself, I'm happy."
